Adding nice alias to do apt-get update and upgrade

By rakekniven - Posted on 06 September 2015

Many time I find myself typing

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

To make that quicker I just edited my

~/.bashrc

and added following alias

alias doit="apt-get update;apt-get upgrade"

After next login I just had to type

doit

That's all.

Happy aliasing :-)
